Life coaching completely changed my life for the better. I exaggerate a lot, but this isn’t an exaggeration.
My husband jokingly (or maybe not so jokingly) refers to me as Ashley 2.0 now.
A few short years ago, I was in a very different place than I am now. I went through the worst thing that ever happened to me. I believed I was a mess. I believed there was no hope for me.
Even as my life started to look better on the outside, I continued to allow lingering beliefs and thought patterns to hold me back. My mind was still a jumbled mess of negative thoughts.
It felt way too scary to face my feelings, so I resisted and avoided them in all kinds of unhealthy (but not uncommon) ways. I blamed others. I overdrank. I bottled my emotions until they inevitably erupted. The result was obviously more problems, increased negative thoughts and feelings, a greater need to avoid, and so on.
I also tried healthy strategies designed to tackle the symptoms of the issue. I would try to quit drinking for a while, or try to exercise more so I was in a better mood. I tried putting other’s needs above my own, then prioritizing self-care. I tried meditating and thinking positively and all the things. For the most part, things looked okay on the surface, but something still felt “off.”
It seemed no matter how hard I tried to improve my circumstances, I was powerless to elicit real, lasting change.
I ran across life coaching and signed up on a whim. I pretended to approach it casually because I was so afraid of failing. But I didn’t fail.
What I learned gave me back the power that I believed I had lost. Once I regained my power, I was unstoppable.
Massive changes happened quickly. Within several weeks, I was able to lose a significant amount of weight, feel indifferent towards red wine, get my home organized (even my closet!), eliminate frustrated outbursts, and complete projects I previously struggled to complete. I became Ashley 2.0.
If you knew me before, each of those things would sound incredible. So incredible, in fact, that my story would sound false. If you can imagine the opposite of each of those things, you can picture where I used to be. (And if you stick around, I’m sure you’ll hear about it).
The most amazing part about the massive changes that occurred by applying the concepts I learned from life coaching is that the change is lasting. I have created life-long habits that will continue to produce the results I want in life.
And now, I can’t wait to share it all with you. Are you ready to start getting the results you want in life? Let’s go
